Class 10 student jumps to death from 8th floor in Delhi’s Janakpuri

A 17-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide on Sunday by jumping from the eighth floor of a building in west Delhi’s Janakpuri area, police said.

Pulkit, a Class 10 student, jumped from the Vishwa Sadan building in the Janakpuri District Centre at 5.20pm, said a police officer.

The building’s security guards rushed him to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

No suicide note was recovered and police were speaking to his family to ascertain the reason why he took the extreme step, said the officer.

The boy lived with his family in Sagarpur area nearby.
