: The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) arrested two alleged interstate drug traffickers and seized 70 kg of ganja worth around ₹35 lakh in Jhansi, officials said on Wednesday.

The accused, Shiv Kumar ,31, of Hathras and Betli Singh alias Betali Singh ,36, of Agra, were caught near the Sukma-Dukma crossing on Babina Road. The contraband was recovered from a Hyundai Venue SUV. Two mobile phones and ₹1,400 in cash were also seized.
During questioning, the accused allegedly told investigators they sourced cannabis from Odisha and supplied it in Agra, Hathras and nearby areas. The ANTF said efforts are underway to trace the source of supply and identify others linked to the interstate trafficking network. An FIR has been registered under the NDPS Act at Babina police station.
