U.P. Divas to have Investment and employment as main theme this year
“Uttar Pradesh Divas’ main theme for 2023 will be investment and employment. So, holding of seminars on investment and employment, roadshow and conference of entrepreneurs should remain in focus,” said chief secretary Durga Shanker Mishra in an order issued on January 19.
The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to have investment and employment as the main theme of the three-day Uttar Pradesh (U.P.) Divas celebrations being organised here from January 24 to 26.
“Uttar Pradesh Divas’ main theme for 2023 will be investment and employment. So, holding of seminars on investment and employment, roadshow and conference of entrepreneurs should remain in focus,” said chief secretary Durga Shanker Mishra in an order issued on January 19.
The state government has been holding Uttar Pradesh Divas on January 24 every year since 2018. Governor Anandiben Patel and chief minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the inaugural event of the Uttar Pradesh Divas at the Awadh Shilp Gram here on Tuesday.
The state government is making all-out efforts to attract investment ahead of Global Investors’ Summit-2023 scheduled in Lucknow from February 10 to 12. After holding international roadshows at 21 cities in 16 countries, the state government has been organising domestic roadshows at eight major cities of India. The state government has also directed its officers to hold divisional and district level roadshows as well to attract investment.
On Tuesday, the state government proposes to launch millet promotion scheme, chief minister’s apprenticeship training scheme and one programme one family dashboard. A coffee table book of the state tourism department will be released and a short film focusing on the state’s development journey will be played at the programme being organised at the Awadh Ship Gram. The state government also proposes to honour talent in the field of art and culture during the Uttar Pradesh Divas.
