Mumbai: Days after candidates raised concerns over the delay in recruitment results, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday announced that the Tier-II examination results for recruitment to teaching and non-teaching posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) and Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) will be declared in phases from mid-August.

In a statement, the board said the Tier-II examinations held in March covered recruitment to various teaching and non-teaching posts and included both objective and descriptive papers.
According to CBSE, the evaluation of the objective papers has been completed, including the release of answer keys and OMR sheet images. The physical assessment of more than 2.1 lakh descriptive answer books across 68 subjects is now at an advanced stage.
The board said results would be announced in phases beginning mid-August and advised candidates to follow updates only through its official website.
Hindustan Times had reported on August 1 that lakhs of aspirants were awaiting the outcome of the recruitment process for 23,029 posts across KVS, NVS and EMRS. The delay had triggered an online campaign, with candidates urging the government to expedite the declaration of results.
