Even as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) denied a ticket to Tilak family member after the demise of MLA Mukta Tilak, her husband Shailesh Tilak and son Kunal attended the party campaign on Monday and also spoke with party workers.

BJP’s state unit head Chandrashekhar Bawankule visited Tilak family members on Monday afternoon. In the evening, they attended the meeting called by city unit president Jagdish Mulik at the party office.

Shailesh said, “We are one party and one family. We should work together for the party.”

Kunal said, ”To divide the BJP voters, flexes had been put up in Kasba Peth, but Tilak family is with party candidate Hemant Rasane.”
