Vikram Gokhale showing steady improvement
Refuting rumours of his demise, his wife Vrushali had issued a statement, saying that he is on life support.
Acclaimed actor Vikram Gokhale, who is undergoing treatment at the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, is showing slow and steady progress.
As per the hospital PRO Dr Shirish Yadkikar, the actor has responded positively to treatment in the last 24 hours. “He is opening his eyes, moving his limbs, and is likely to be off ventilatory support in 48 hours. his BP and heart are stable,” the hospital statement read.
The veteran artist was admitted to the hospital a fortnight ago after complaining of breathing difficulties.
Refuting the rumours of his demise, his wife Vrushali had issued a statement, saying that he is on life support.
“Mr Vikram Gokhale is critical for the last 24 hours. Doctors are trying their best. He is not responding to the treatment as expected. He has a multiorgan failure,” her statement on Thursday evening read.
