Maharashtra’s 48 constituencies will vote to elect members to the Lok Sabha in four phases on April 11, 18, 23 and 29.
Sangli Lok Sabha constituencies, one of the 48 in Maharashtra, is represented by Sanjay Patil of the Bharatiya Janata Party who defeated Pratik Patil of the Congress in 2014.

Pratik Patil, a former Union minister, recently resigned from the Congress following reports of Congress-Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) alliance’s support to a Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana candidate from the Sangli Lok Sabha constituency.
