Australia face Netherlands in ODI 24 of the ongoing 2023 World Cup, in New Delhi on Wednesday. After a poor start where they lost their opening two matches, Australia bounced back to winning ways and have built a two-game winning streak. They are currently fourth in the standings and Netherlands are seventh with a win and three defeats. After defeating South Africa by 38 runs in their third fixture, the Dutch lost to Sri Lanka by five wickets.

Pat Cummins will have plenty of positives to bring into their upcoming match, especially with the form of openers David Warner and Mitchell Marsh. Against Pakistan in their previous fixture, Warner smacked 163 off 124 balls and Marsh clattered 121 off 108 deliveries. Meanwhile, Adam Zampa also showcased good bowling form, with a four-wicket haul.

Travis Head could also be recalled for the upcoming match, as he recovers from a broken hand. He fractured his hand during Australia's South Africa tour last month, and has missed all four games in India. Aussie coach Andrew McDonald said on Monday, "We're really optimistic that he'll be available should all things go well today and as I said, most importantly, the way he pulls up tomorrow will be a key factor. It's been really impressive the way he's gone about his recovery."

For the Dutch, Sybrand Engelbrecht was in hot form in their previous fixture, hammering 70 off 82 balls. Meanwhile, Aryan Dutt took three wickets in the previous game. Runs have come mainly from their lower order batters, so they will be expecting some from their top order in the upcoming match.
