The replays indicate that the ball came in contact with the ropes before the fielder flicked it away but the third umpire is happy with the effort.

OUT! TIMBER! Bernard Scholtz has produced an absolute ripper. From around the wicket, he slows it down, on a good length in line with the off stump. Myers lunges and pushes out in front. The ball lands and straightens to sneak past the outside edge before clattering into the off pole.

It is skied towards deep square leg, where Jan Frylinck steadies himself under the skier and gets low to take the catch whilst extending his hands out in front.
