Highlights: Half-centuries from Shikhar Dhawan and skipper Shreyas Iyer helped Delhi Capitals outplay Royal Challengers Bangalore by 16 runs to enter the Indian Premier League play-offs for the first time since 2012. Delhi Capitals win by 16 runs, qualify for the play-offs
Kagiso Rabada concedes just nine runs and picks up the wicket of Washington Sundar in the last over as Delhi Capitals beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 16 runs. They become the second team to qualify for the play-offs after Chennai Super Kings this season. Delhi have qualified for the business end of the tournament for the first time since 2012.
Gurkeerat departs for 27 runs
Gurkeerat nicks a delivery from Ishant and Pant flies to his right to latch on to a good catch. RCB need 26 runs from the last over.
RCB need 30 runs from 12 balls
With Stoinis and Gurkeerat at the crease, this match is RCB’s to lose from here. The visitors need 30 runs to win from the last two overs.
Stoinis and Gurkeerat keep RCB in the chase
Stoinis and Gurkeerat have put together a sensible partnership of 31 runs so far. If these two keep batting the way they are, then RCB will surely win this match.

AB de Villiers smashes Amit Mishra for a six over backward square-leg as RCB move to 82/2 in 9 overs. They need 106 more runs to win.
Kohli departs for 23 runs
Big wicket for Delhi! Kohli goes for a pull shot and picks out Rutherford in the deep. The RCB skipper departs for 23 runs. Royal Challengers Bangalore: 68/2 in 7.2 overs.
Rabada dismisses Parthiv
Parthiv’s whirlwind innings comes to an end after Axar takes a brilliant catch on the off-side. Patel departs for 39 runs as RCB move to 64/1 in 6 overs.
Virat Kohli survives a catch appeal
Virat Kohli nicks a delivery from Ishant Sharma and Pant dives to his right and claims a catch. Kohli believes that the ball bumped before Pant collected the ball, but the Delhi Capitals players start celebrating. Replays show that the ball bumps in front of Pant’s gloves and Kohli survives. The Indian captain has a word with Ishant and Pant after the third umpire rules Kohli not out.

Parthiv is batting beautifully at the Feroz Shah Kotla. The wicketkeeper-batsman smashes Lamichhane for three boundaries as RCB move to 35/0 in 3 overs.

Rutherford smashes Saini for two fours and a six in the last over as Delhi Capitals post 187/5 in 20 overs. The West Indian remained unbeaten on 28 runs from 13 balls.
Umesh Yadav concedes 16 runs
Umesh Yadav concedes two fours and a six as Delhi Capitals reach 167/5 in 19 overs. Rutherford will be hoping to take Delhi to 180 in the last over.
Delhi reach 151/5 in 18 overs
Rutherford smashes Stoinis for a six in the 18th over as Delhi Capitals reach 151/5. The Royal Challengers Bangalore can look to restrict Delhi to a score below 170 from here.
Ingram departs for 11 runs
Ingram tries to play an innovative shot after smashing Saini for a four and a six. The innovative shot isn’t executed well and he is out caught for 11 runs.
Chahal dismisses Iyer
The Delhi Capitals were banking on Iyer for a big finish, but it isn’t to be. Iyer goes for a big shot and is caught by Kohli in the deep. DC: 129/4 in 15.3 overs.
Pant departs for seven runs
Pant flatters to deceive once again. Chahal traps the wicketkeeper-batsman LBW and the Delhi batsman goes for seven runs. Pant reviews the decision, but the replays show that the ball pitched on line and would have hit the stumps.
Delhi need a big finish from Pant
Dhawan and Iyer have laid down the platform for the Delhi Capitals and now they will hope that Pant provides the big finish at the end of the innings. DC: 108/2 in 13.3 overs.
Dhawan goes for 50 runs
Dhawan inside-edges a delivery from Dube and brings up his half-century off 36 balls. The opening batsman has played a superlative innings today. Just after scoring his fifty, he presents a catch to Sundar and gets out for 50 runs.

Dhawan runs the ball down to the fine-leg boundary and inches closer to another half-century. Dhawan and Iyer are stringing a brilliant partnership for Delhi Capitals.

Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli has scored runs for fun against Amit Mishra in the past the same could be the case in Delhi on Sunday. Kohli has scored 175 runs off 103 deliveries from the leggie in the cash-rich league. But the experienced spinner will take heart from the fact that he has dismissed Kohli twice before in the IPL.

RCB opener Parthiv Patel will be up against compatriot Ishant Sharma, who has been in decent form this term. In the past, Ishant has bowled 31 deliveries to Parthiv and has dismissed him once. While the southpaw has scored 41 runs at a strike-rate of 132.2.
