India vs South Africa Highlights 3rd T20: IND go down by 49 runs in Indore, win series 2-1

Quinton de Kock welcomes Mohammed Siraj with a maximum! A brilliant pick-up shot towards deep backward square leg as South Africa find their first boundary of the match.

Deepak Chahar starts with a tight over as just one single come off it. SA: 1/0 (1 over)

Confusion right as the word go. De Kock plays the ball straight to Shreyas Iyer at mid-off and charges for a run. He is forced to return after reaching middle of the pitch and manages to survive as Iyer's throw misses the stumps.

Deepak Chahar will lead the attack for India. Quinton de Kock will take the strike.

South Africa openers Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma walk in. The Indian fielders have formed a huddle, last minute strategies being discussed.

Rohit Sharma confirms Arshdeep Singh is having a minor issue on his back and has been rested only as a precautionary measure. Nothing to worry about.

Rohit Sharma wins toss, opts to field

Meanwhile, South Africa's biggest concern will be their skipper Temba Bavuma's form. He was dismissed on ducks on both occasion and will hope for a change in fortune heading into the final T20I.

Rishabh Pant is yet to bat in the series so Rohit Sharma might want the wicketkeeper batter a chance at the top. 

Team's second wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik too has just got one chance to bat. He played seven balls in the previous T20I in Guwahati, in which he scored 17 runs. Out of the seven balls he faced, two went for a six and one for a four. 

Ahead of the contest, Shreyas Iyer was seen practicing with India batting coach Vikram Rathour on the sidelines. Rishabh Pant too was practicing the wicketkeeping drills.

We also have LIVE visuals coming in from the venue and the sky looks all clear, the fans have started to arrive. One more cracking contest on the cards for cricket enthusiast. 

The Proteas can also experiment with their batting line-up and hand an opportunity to either Reeza Hendricks or Heinrich Klaasen at the top of the order.

1st T20I: The Indian bowlers put up a show as South Africa could only manage 106/8 in 20 overs. Then KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav slammed 50 each to guide India to a 8-wicket win.

2nd T20I: This time the batters took the charge and once again the top-two scorers were KL and Surya. Riding on the splendid batting display, India piled a gigantic 237/3 in 20 overs. In response, David Miller led a lone battle, but South Africa lost the contest by 16 runs. Miller had then scored an unbeaten 107 off 46 balls.

The venue has been a paradise for batter, especially the chasing side. Hence, both the captain who wins the toss, might opt to field first.

The clash will also give BCCI an opportunity to test their pacers. With Jasprit Bumrah now out of the T20 World Cup, the management may hand Mohammed Siraj a chance in the XI.

Siraj, was called in as a last minute replacement for Bumrah ahead of the series, but is yet to get some game time.

Since Virat and KL have been rested, it provides management to try out Shreyas Iyer in the XI.

Iyer can fit in the middle-order and either Suryakumar Yadav or Rishabh Pant can walk out to open the innings with captain Rohit Sharma.

While India stuck to their core unit in the first two matches, we'll see some changes in the final match. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul both have been rested and it will be interesting to see, who gets a chance.
