"I've been playing with Hooda for the last 3-4 seasons and we talk a lot. He loves batting in the nets and never comes out. He's keen to learn, he had to wait for chances and he's using them. He's become somebody whom we can rely on in the middle-order. He soaked in the pressure today and took on the bowling. Really pleased with the way he's batting."

Super Giants got home by a dozen! They are currently sitting fifth on the points table with two wins. Hyderabad, on the other hand, are languishing at the bottom.

Sunrisers Hyderabad lost openers Williamson and Abhishek Sharma, and Aiden Markram perished on 12. Nicholas Pooran (34) and Rahul Tripathi (44) chipped in with vital cameos but the asking run rate led to regular fall of wickets. Avesh picked up four while Holder added three under his belt. Krunal also plucked two wickets! An all-round performance from Lucknow.

Three runs and three wickets over as the drama ended with Shepherd giving an easy catch to Badoni at cover point. What a roller coaster!

Excellent from Holder, who picks up another wicket. Bhuvneshwar hoiks it but doesn't find the connection. An easy catch for de Kock. 14 needed off 2 balls.

Romario goes down the ground for a six! But he fails to find a boundary on the last ball. 10 off the over and Hyderabad need 16 off the last six deliveries.

Shepherd faces the hat-trick ball and defends the yorker. What a spell from Avesh. He finishes on 4/24 in four overs. The best figures for him in the IPL. His previous best was 3/13 against KKR in Sharjah last year. Hyderabad now need 26 from two overs, with Sundar and Shepherd in the middle. 

OUT! Two in two for Avesh! He removes Samad on nought. He's on a hat-trick!!!

A wonderful finish to the over from Washington, who lofted it to deep extra-cover. A much-needed boundary but Tye concedes just eight from the over. 33 needed off last three overs! 

Direct hit and we have an umpire referral for run-out… and the bat was well grounded. Quick work from Washington. The next five deliveries from Andre Tye will be crucial.

Nicholas Pooran finds a boundary on the last ball and Bishnoi isn't happy with himself! The young lad finishes with 0/29 in his four that featured many quick deliveries and googlies. Time-out and Hyderabad need 41 off the last four overs.

Quinton de Kock took off the bails but Washington was well inside the crease. Easy call for the third umpire.

Great pick up and throw from LSG skipper Rahul but no direct hit! Pooran and Washington Sundar keep the scoreboard ticking. On the last ball, Pooran tucks it to deep square leg for a four. Hyderabad need 50 from the last five overs.

Pooran gets going! He hit a 92m six against Krunal in the last over and Pooran welcomes fellow West Indian Holder with a boundary in mid-wicket region.

Krunal strikes again! He picks up the crucial wicket of Rahul Tripathi (44). Hyderabad lose 4th wicket in 170 chase. Tripathi wanted to hit it big but didn't connect. Bishnoi runs in from deep mid-wicket and takes an important catch.
