He was 19 off 22 at one stage, and the second timeout changed everything for him as he went on to score 82 off the next 23 balls. Varma brought up a 45-ball hundred, the joint-fastest for Mumbai in the IPL, drawing level with Sanath Jayasuriya. GT left much to be desired with their death bowling as MI finished with 199.
