He says it was a great feeling to register his highest ODI score, with his previous best also coming against Australia. He says Australia's competitive nature and their ability to constantly challenge opponents bring out the best in players, adding that it was good to compete against a top side and contribute to a big team effort in a winning cause. Reflecting on the conditions and his partnership with Temba Bavuma, Miller says Bavuma was incredibly solid and played an outstanding knock. He explains that the surface offered some slow bounce, so the pair focused on rotating the strike and feeding each other with runs before gradually moving through the gears. Miller adds that the length of an ODI innings gave them plenty of time to build the partnership and take the game deep, making it particularly enjoyable to bat alongside Bavuma. Miller also speaks about having his mother's name on the back of his shirt as part of South Africa's Pink Day initiative. He says she has been through a lot over the last couple of years and describes it as a special initiative that allows the players to represent different people through the names on their shirts. 4:23 PM IST Skipper of Australia - Mitchell Marsh says that it was a disappointing performance from the team, as they had a chance to drag the series to the last game by keeping it alive but they failed to do so, adding that in both games the middle order has faltered and it is a learning curve for the lads in those positions. Mitchell Marsh reckons that Jack Edwards and Xavier Bartlett are good young guys and to put in a performance like that with both the bat and the ball leads them to a bright future ahead. Marsh closes by saying that he does not want to be whitewashed and will be looking forward to the last game and try and win that.

4:17 PM IST Openers fire but spinners seal the deal - Chasing a mountain of 366 runs, Australia came out of the blocks with all guns blazing. Skipper Mitchell Marsh led from the front with a rapid 84, while Travis Head played the perfect anchor before also departing for 84. Unfortunately for the visitors, the momentum stalled entirely once the opening partnership was broken. The middle and lower-middle order failed to capitalise on the dream start. Despite a late fight by Xavier Bartlett, who scored a half-century, South Africa's slower bowlers choked the run flow, as it became a case of spin to win for the home side, with the spinners picking up 5 wickets collectively to restrict Australia to 32 runs short.
