Karan Lamba

Karan Lamba is a dynamic right-handed middle-order batter and right-arm leg-spinner who has made steady strides through Rajasthan’s age-group and senior domestic circuits. Born on November 28, 2004, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Lamba emerged from the competitive district ranks, earning a reputation for his ability to construct long, authoritative innings while offering useful leg-spin options in the middle overs.

Lamba built his initial credentials through consistent output in junior state competitions and local tournaments such as the Colvin Shield, regularly turning out for Jaipur. Operating with a compact stroke-play approach, his rapid progression earned him call-ups to senior state trial camps and selection squads, establishing him as a top prospect in Rajasthan's batting depth.

He broke through to Rajasthan’s senior white-ball setups during the 2025–26 domestic season, making key contributions in both the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (T20) and Vijay Hazare Trophy (List A). In the 2025–26 Syed Mushtaq Ali campaign, he showcased his ability to accelerate under pressure, scoring a blistering 52 off 37 balls against Jharkhand. He extended that rich form into the 2025/26 Vijay Hazare Trophy with a series of match-defining knocks, including 102 against Jharkhand, 119 against Kerala, and an unbeaten 108 against Pondicherry, underlining his capability to convert starts into heavy scores.

Continuing his upward trajectory into late 2026, Lamba maintained his place as an integral top/middle-order run-scorer across multi-day fixtures and selection games. In early October 2026, he was officially selected in Rajasthan’s senior squad for the opening matches of the 2026/27 Ranji Trophy campaign, cementing his standing as one of Rajasthan’s most promising young batting pillars as they pursue red-ball success.
