NEW DELHI: Three rhesus macaque monkeys were rescued by the Wildlife SOS Rapid Response Unit near India Gate on Friday.

NEW DELHI: Three rhesus macaque monkeys were rescued by the Wildlife SOS Rapid Response Unit near India Gate on Friday.

The Wildlife SOS Rapid Response Unit received a distress call on their 24- hour rescue help line about am ad ari in possession of three rhesus macaques near India Gate. “The family of three were being used to entertain local and foreign tourists. On being questioned by a passerby, the handler fled,” an NGO member said.
