NEW DELHI: The special cell of Delhi Police on Saturday busted a drug trafficking syndicate that used to source drugs from Odisha and pump them in Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

The police arrested three members of the syndicate — identified as Mohammad Hafiz, 31, Babu Roy, 31, and Jeevan Mondol, 31 — and seized 160kg of cannabis (ganja) that was smuggled into Delhi from Odisha.

The drug dealers arrested from Jaitpur have allegedly supplied over 3,500kg of ganja worth Rs 1 crore in Delhi in the past 10 months.
