Narrating the incident, she said that she saw one bulky and another short robber actively directing others during the incident that took place in the fields adjacent to NH-91 on the fateful night.

“They had already overpowered the men of our family. While we were also held captive, the robbers took out safety pins tucked to our clothes and pierced them in my bodies. All of us were helpless as they were armed and had overpowered us ..,” she said.

The family said that the robbers beat them up with sticks, rods and a hammer whenever anyone moved or tried to speak up.

“Even after that, they did not listen as we pleaded and four people took the girl to the other side of the field... They beat her up and two of them assaulted her one by one ... During the medical examination, the doctor was harsh and told me that case as fake. I told her that no one would like to put any member of his or her family in such a situation as we were in,” she added.

The horror continued for over two hours till the robbers left and one member managed to free himself and set others free.

The family wants the accused be brought to book at the earliest.

“We need justice first. Any compensation or anything else is a later part. The women from our family have stood firm and already identified Raees, Jabar Singh and Shavez and got them arrested ,” the girl’s uncle said.
