“The total number of dengue cases has reached 1,009 with 10 more patients testing positive in the last 24 hours,” Municipal Health Officer (MCD) N.K. Yadav.
“There are 13 cases in which the infection has been contracted from outside Delhi.”
The city has reported nearly 380 cases of dengue in the last 12 days alone even as the mercury was dipping.
The civic agency was expecting to see a drop in the number of cases with increasing cold.
