2 robbers held for hitting cop with hammer
Delhi Police have arrested two robbers — Sanjay and Sandeep — who attacked a constable with a hammer when he tried to stop them.

Delhi Police have arrested two robbers — Sanjay and Sandeep — who attacked a constable with a hammer when he tried to stop them.
“On May 16, two bike-borne youth were signaled to stop but they didn’t. When a police team managed to stop them, the pillion rider pulled out a hammer and attacked a constable on his head and face,” said AK Ojha, DCP (southwest).
The injured constable was rushed to hospital and the duo booked in a case of assault. During interrogation, they disclosed their involvement in six cases of robbery.
