3 killed, 42 injured in accident in Delhi

Three persons, including a minor boy and girl, were killed and over 40 others injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling in rammed into a state-run bus in New Delhi.

The incident took place in Kanjhawala in Outer Delhi this afternoon when the canter had a head-on collission with the DTC bus, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Atul Katiyar said.

"The canter rammed into the bus, killing three persons and injuring 42 others," he said.

Arsu (five), Vishal (six) and Tarachand (43), the driver of the canter, were killed in the accident while those injured were rushed to several hospitals including Ambedkar and Valmiki hospitals.

A case has been registered and further investigations were on.
