Three more persons succumbed to swine flu on Monday even as 68 fresh cases of the disease were reported from across the country.

Two deaths were reported from Maharashtra and the third one from Haryana. With this, the total number of deaths nationwide have risen to 447, Health Ministry officials said.

Kerala recorded the highest number of cases today with 25 followed by Delhi (10) and Maharashtra (8).

Out of the 68 fresh cases reported on Monday, three cases are imported while the rest are indigenous cases.

The total number of those afflicted with the disease has reached 13,441.

Till date, samples from 71,086 people have been tested for swine flu and 18.9 per cent of them have been found to be positive.
