4 bikers die in 2 road mishaps in past 24 hrs

Four bikers were killed while two were injured in two separate accidents in south Delhi in the past 24 hours. Tragically, in both accidents, the victims were out to visit Ramlila pandals in south Delhi.

Four bikers were killed while two were injured in two separate accidents in south Delhi in the past 24 hours. Tragically, in both accidents, the victims were out to visit Ramlila pandals in south Delhi.

The first accident took place around 1.30am on the Barapula elevated road in Sarai Kale Khan. Two youths, including a minor, were killed while their two friends sustained injuries when their speeding bike skidded and rammed into the railing. According to police, the minor was driving the bike.

The deceased have been identified as Rizwan, 24. The name of the minor has been withheld. Both were residents of Madangir and Dakshinpuri localities.

In the second accident a 28-year-old man and his brother-in-law were killed after the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a speeding truck in Okhla around 10.30pm.

The deceased were identified as Ashok and Dinanath. The duo worked in an export house and hailed from Aurangabad, Bihar.
