Despite a sunny day and clear skies, temperatures remained below average in the Capital on Saturday.
The Met office has forecast a dry Sunday. “The maximum temperature was recorded at 38.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 26.3 degrees, both a notch below average,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The humidity levels were normal, wavering between 60% and 32%. According to the IMD, Sunday will be a hot day and the maximum temperature is expected to be around 40 degrees while the minimum may settle at 27 degrees.

However, the restriction will not be applicable to the movements of the Indian Air Force, the Border Security Force, the Indian Army or helicopters, the notice said.
