AI loader held for molesting 9-year-old

An Air India employee allegedly molested a nine-year-old NRI girl at the airport in Kolkata on Tuesday. The 54-year-old man has been arrested along with an accomplice, who allegedly tried to help him get away, repprts HT Correspondent.

An Air India employee allegedly molested a nine-year-old NRI girl at the airport here on Tuesday. The 54-year-old man has been arrested along with an accomplice, who allegedly tried to help him get away.

Reza Ahmed, a loader, allegedly misbehaved with the Boston-bound girl while her parents were completing check-in formalities to board a Lufthansa flight home. Others flyers reportedly saw what Ahmed was doing and raised an alarm.

Ahmed and Binoy Sannyasi were arrested on the complaint of the girl’s relatives.

Air India, which does the ground handling for Lufthansa, has suspended both employees.
