Armed men lift vehicle

Three armed criminals allegedly dragged the driver of a Hyundai Accent car out of his vehicle near a private hospital in Palam Vihar, thrashed him and sped away with the car on Saturday afternoon.

Three armed criminals allegedly dragged the driver of a Hyundai Accent car out of his vehicle near a private hospital in Palam Vihar, thrashed him and sped away with the car on Saturday afternoon. The driver was waiting for the owner of the car after dropping her at the hospital, the police said.

The owner of the car, a senior executive with Hindustan Times, had visited the hospital along with her ailing father. She said the incident happened in broad daylight outside Umkal Hospital near Chancellor Club.
