"I assure you that if the common man's party and common man come to power, all corrupt ministers will be tried and jailed within six months," Kejriwal said at a well-attended gathering to mark the foundation day of the new party, celebrated at the capital's Parliament Street.
"Now it will be politician versus the common man, who has been suffering since 65 years," he said, flanked by former law minister Shanti Bhushan and former navy chief Admiral L Ramdas.
Kejriwal said the common man's party will be transparent in its functioniong and will put details of all expenses and donations on its website.
He challenged the Congress and BJP to make public the amount they are spending on the Gujarat polls.

The AAP, in a release stated that over 15,000 people had taken the forms to enroll themselves as its members.
"Citizens have offered to open more offices of the party at 300 places and Rs. 1,62,324 were collected as donations during the day," stated the release.
Kejriwal also announced that former chief justice of Jharkhand HC justice Bhagwati Prasad Sharma and Admiral Ramdass as members of the party's first internal Lokpal.
