India’s most famous yoga guru Swami Ramdev — or Ramkishan Yadav — announced on Tuesday that he would name a new political party in three years. Till then, he will train political workers for creating a stronger India. He, however, will not contest polls himself.

Last year, he had shared a platform with the entire Hindutva parivar at Panipat on terrorism, though he kept a calibrated distance with the BJP even on the dais.

Reacting to Mayawati's call to people to shun Babas like him, he said: “Money should be used for the welfare of the last man, and not for the garland of materialist politicians like Mayawati. She believes in business and I believe in Dharma.”
