Bappi Lahiri moves court

Music composer and singer Bappi Lahiri has approached Delhi High Court for a stay on the release of the movie Toonpur Ka Superhero. He alleged filmmakers projected him in a defamatory manner.

Music composer and singer Bappi Lahiri has approached Delhi High Court for a stay on the release of the movie Toonpur Ka Superhero. He alleged filmmakers projected him in a defamatory manner. "The character Guppy, a singer in the movie, looks similar to Lahiri, down to the multiple gold chains", the petition alleges. The movie is to be released on Friday.
