BJP leaders will protest in Delhi Wednesday against Shinde's Hindutva terror remarks, party chief spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said after a BJP core group meet.

Meanwhile, a Delhi court has fixed March 7 for hearing arguments on whether to summon Shinde in a defamation case for his remarks linking the RSS to terror. BJP leaders will meet Tuesday to strategise about the budget session, after which the NDA will meet on the issue.

“The session is likely to be tumultuous,” a BJP leader told HT. “Corruption and Hindutva terror will be on our agenda. Shinde has to apologise for his remarks. You can’t call us terrorists and hope we’ll help you pass your Bills.”

The party is also not ruling out tension on the rape charges against Rajya Sabha deputy chairman PJ Kurien.
