"UPA government's failure to fight terrorism effectively, not providing enough relief to farmers and the agriculture sector, and failure to check inflation despite improvement in the global economic situation will be pointed out," BJP President Rajnath Singh told PTI.

The saffron party will raise these issues -- which are also likely to form part of their election manifesto -- in the Parliament session starting from Thursday.

"The UPA government should have shown its diplomatic skills and built international pressure on Pakistan in the Mumbai terror attack case," Singh said.

BJP will also demand a reply from the government on the progress in the November 26 attacks case.

"On the economy front, one crore Indians may lose their jobs due to the crisis. Moreover, inflation is still high," Singh said. He said farmers were still a harassed lot as fertilizer and monetary relief had not reached them.

The "misuse" of government institutions like Governor and CBI as seen in SP leader Mulayam Singh Yadav case would also be raised, a BJP MP said.
