“You can expect parents to start queuing up even before 8 a.m. when the counter will open,” said Sanjay Singh (name changed), parent. “No one would like to miss out this opportunity,” Singh said.

The school had earlier specified that forms had to be filled and submitted the same day, claimed Singh. “After the Delhi Directorate of Education intervened, they postponed the date of submission. We will be told about it tomorrow (Saturday),” he said.

To help parents, the popular website www.nurseryadmissions.com has started a discussion on admission to both the branches of Modern School. It suggests that parents carry a photocopy of the date of birth certificate of their child and states that forms would only be available between 8 a.m. and 1.30 p.m.

Saturday is also the last date for submission of forms for Bal Bharti Public School, Ganga Ram Hospital Marg.
