Sources said that the report on the current situation was given to the prime minister in the morning. However, they declined to divulge the contents of the report.

The all party meeting is scheduled for 3.30pm on Wednesday. According to sources, a final decision would be taken after this meeting as opposition parties had pointed out that the government had taken all decisions on its own without consulting them.

Many of the demands of Team Anna, which is insisting on its version of the Lokpal Bill, have been met, sources said, adding that talks continued.

Hazare's fast entered day nine on Wednesday and the condition of the 74-year-old is deteriorating.
