Coming soon, ATMs at every Metro station

All Metro stations in the Capital will soon have ATM facilities. Keeping about 20 lakh commuters’ convenience in mind, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has planned to almost double the number of ATM machines operational in its Metro stations.

All Metro stations in the Capital will soon have ATM facilities. Keeping about 20 lakh commuters’ convenience in mind, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has planned to almost double the number of ATM machines operational in its Metro stations.

In a span of six months a total of 160 ATM machines will be installed in the stations. “Presently the DMRC has a total of 178 ATM machines — mostly of private banks — operational in the network. The new ATMs will however be mostly of nationalised banks,” said a spokesperson of DMRC, adding, “Each station will have at least two ATMs and talks are on with the banks.
