In a letter to Corporate Affairs Minister Premchand Gupta, 13 Congress MPs from Andhra Pradesh said, "both the Congress party and the Chief Minister are willing for any probe by any authority into any of the allegations made by the TDP and their allies."

A delegation led by MP from Tirupati Chintamohan met Gupta and handed over the letter.

The Congress' move comes a day after TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu levelled a slew of charges against Reddy.

"They (TDP and its allies) are thoroughly clueless and frustrated about their bleak future in the upcoming elections and are therefore indulging in cheap tactics to defame the Congress Government by making patently false and baseless allegations only for gaining cheap publicity," the letter said.

Naidu along with leaders of Telengana Rashtra Samiti, CPI(M) and CPI had yesterday released a voluminous compilation of charges against Reddy and his family members, alleging that they have amassed huge wealth by "abusing" power.
