A Delhi court on Thursday convicted a man and his girlfriend for throwing acid on the mother of his divorced wife two years ago.

A Delhi court on Thursday convicted a man and his girlfriend for throwing acid on the mother of his divorced wife two years ago. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Amit Bansal held Shah Nawaz and his girlfriend Raziya guilty of causing grievous injuries to Pyari, the mother of his ex-wife, by throwing acid on her face and upper limbs. The court is likely to pronounce the sentence against both the convicts on December 21.
