Crèche for Metro staff inaugurated at Shastri Park

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) today started a crèche christened “Aanchal” at its staff quarters in Shastri Park. The crèche was formally inaugurated by Mangu Singh, Managing Director, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

“Aanchal” will cater to children in the age group of two to 12 years. It has been equipped with modern amenities like air-conditioned rooms, RO water filters, computer for educational activity, toys, bunk beds, microwave, double door refrigerator for storage of food and washing machine, among others.

“This crèche has also been equipped with CCTV surveillance cameras fitted in all rooms to monitor the movement and care of the children,” said Anuj Dayal, spokesperson, DMRC.
