The latest edition in the series, His Monsoon Bride, features Rohit Raghav, 25, and Saumya, 26, in an intimate embrace on the cover. They were both selected through a contest.

“I am on cloud nine. I have read many of these books when I was young and I used to fantasise about the women on the cover. Imagine, I am on on it now,” says Raghav, 25, a business graduate who models part-time."

Saumya, a media professional, is as thrilled.

“I just sent in my pictures and then forgot about it. When I got a call after a month, I couldn’t believe I’d won,’ she says. The book’s author Aastha Atray, also from Delhi, says, “I really like the cover because it’s Indian. When they consulted me, I told them the faces should be your next-door type.”
