DJB extends last date of paying bills

Days after issuing new bills under the recent revenue management system, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has extended the last date for paying bills to October 10.

Days after issuing new bills under the recent revenue management system, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has extended the last date for paying bills to October 10.

"A provision has been made to receive payments without surcharge," the DJB said.

The Delhi Jal Board has generated around 12 lakh bills, many of which have already been dispatched.

Places where payment of bills can be made are DJB bill collection centres, Delhi government's Jeewan Centres, automated bill payment machines installed at different locations across the city, Corporation Bank, ICICI Bank, Allahabad Bank , IDBI Bank and Syndicate Bank, DJB said.

Consumers can also pay online through DJB’s website.
