Dowry death case: victim's kin booked

Faridabad police have registered a case of dowry death after a 25-year-old mother of two was found dead in district Palwal on Friday. Police said Neetu allegedly died after consuming a poisonous substance at her in-laws' residence. HT reports.

Faridabad police have registered a case of dowry death after a 25-year-old mother of two was found dead in district Palwal on Friday. Police said Neetu allegedly died after consuming a poisonous substance at her in-laws' residence.

"Neetu's family members alleged that they received a call from their daughter on Friday morning, saying she was being forced to consume a poisonous substance," said Sukhbir Singh, SHO, Hassanpur.

Meanwhile, a case of dowry death has been registered at Hassanpur police station against Neetu's husband Anil and her mother-in-law Shivkali.
