DU’s tribute to mathematician Ramanujan

Delhi University has decided to honour mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan with a competition. Teams of undergraduate students from any discipline are free to participate in the competition.

Delhi University has decided to honour mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan with a competition. Teams of undergraduate students from any discipline are free to participate in the competition.

“Since this year has been declared the National Mathematical Year to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Ramanujan, the competition is based on the use of number theoretic techniques to design encryption software," said Dinesh Singh, vice chancellor, Delhi University, who is also a mathematician.
