DU students plan protest

The resonance of the clashes between the police and students of Delhi University on February 6, when BJP leader Narendra Modi had visited the university, is still being heard.

While students have decided to hold a protest march at the Arts Faculty on Tuesday, the police have written to student organisations asking them to desist from such activities.

“The students have got letters asking them to abandon the idea of protests. This is unacceptable and tantamount to covert threats,” said a teacher.
