"Considering all the facts and circumstances of the case, I find no sufficient ground to grant anticipatory bail to the applicant/accused. Bail application is dismissed," District and Sessions Judge S P Garg said.
Refusing to allow the application of Shamsher Singh, the court said the allegations against him were grave and moreover, he has not yet joined the investigation and had remained absconding.
Earlier, an FIR was lodged at Chanakyapuri police station by Anne M Brunn, Assistant Regional Security Officer of the US Embassy under various provisions of the IPC and the Passport Act, dealing with cheating, forgery, conspiracy and faking travel documents.
