The families of three suspected robbers, who were lynched at Balaram Nagar area of Loni on February 22, have lodged complaints with National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Prakash Jaiswal, National.

Minorities Commission (NMC) and Inspector General of Police (IG) Lucknow.
The action by the families came after they alleged that their children were murdered under mysterious circumstances after they were beaten up by the public.
The police have so far identified only three of the four lynched men.
The alleged robbers had broken into the house of one Ramesh Kumar Bhardwaj in Balram Nagar around 8 p.m. Bhardwaj was away in Muzaffarnagar for a wedding.
“We are not convinced by the police action as the residents handed them alive to the police after beating them. We don’t know how they died —the public killed them or the police. I want justice for my son Shahzaad,” said Mohammed Shamsheer, father of one of the victims.
As per residents, one of the four men was tied to a pole and the other three beaten up at a nearby tri-junction in Balram Nagar and later handed over alive to the police.
The men were later declared brought-dead at MMG hospital at Ghaziabad.
Ghaziabad SSP Akhil Kumar had already initiated an inquiry through SP (City) Anant Dev. “If we get some notices on this, we will fully co-operate in the matter and investigate accordingly,” he said.
