“We received information that some men are loading banned red sandalwood in their truck. Around 5pm, our teams reached GTK Road in Alipur and the truck was flagged down. On checking, we found 92 logs of red sandalwood covered in plastic. The men were apprehended and the logs were recovered. A forest official was informed to identify the recovered wood,” a senior police officer said.
