Gang of snatchers, auto thieves busted, 2 held

With the arrest of two persons, the police have claimed to have busted a gang of snatchers-cum-vehicle thieves. The arrested include the kingpin of the gang, Mukesh, alias Tinku, 28. ACP (west) V Renganathan said a team of Moti Nagar police station led by SHO Raj Kumar apprehended Tinku and his associate Rohit Singh, 24. HT reports.

“With their arrest we have solved many cases of snatching and vehicle theft. A country-made pistol, some cartridges, a button-activated knife and six mobile phones have been recovered from them,” he said.
