The youths, identified as Vicky, Ajay, Sunil Kumar and Kuldeep, all 19, were apprehended for being involved in several burglary cases. They were arrested on Tuesday from near the ESI Hospital in Moti Nagar after a tip-off.
Additional DCP (west) Rishi Pal said, “Vicky wanted an expensive car to impress his girlfriend, Ajay inspired by ‘Ghajini’ movie wanted to become a body builder, while Sunil and Kuldeep wanted to go on a world tour.”
A gas cylinder, 50 cell phones, one gold necklace, two gold rings, a silver bracelet and robbery tools were recovered from their possession. They used to target abandoned houses by breaking open the locks during night.
