Blaming the Delhi government, party president Jagdish Mamgain objected to the political interference in the election and management of temples, mosques, gurudwaras etc by the government. Mamgain also said that the families of 1984 victims are yet to get justice for years, despite the fact that both Congress and BJP have held the reins of power.

To provide relief to their families, he demanded that the Ministry of Home Affairs notification passed in 2006 which aimed at providing employment in the army and government enterprises to these families be implemented.

“The notification was passed in 2006 but not a single family member of the riot victims got a job through the scheme,” Mamgain alleged.
