HC defers hearing in BMW 'sting' case
The Delhi HC posts the hearing on the TV expose of an alleged collusion between prosecution and defence in the high profile BMW case.
The Delhi High Court on Monday posted the hearing on the TV expose of an alleged collusion between the prosecution and the defence in the high profile BMW case for July two, when its Chief Justice will hear the matter.

A Division Bench comprising Justices JP Singh and S Murlidhar adjourned the matter after being informed that its May 31 order was complied by the TV channel and Registrar General of the court.
High Court Chief Justice MK Sharma will now hear the matter on July 2. The court had on May 31 took suo motu cognisance on the sting operation carried out by NDTV in the BMW hit-and-run case and sought all records related to the case by June 11.
It had said "the contents of video recording done by NDTV is a serious issue concerning the administration of criminal justice system. It is in the fitness of things and interest of justice that true facts be brought at the earliest."
It directed the High Court Registrar General to collect all the records of the case including the Compact Discs and file a report before the court by June 11.
Then special prosecutor IU Khan and senior advocate RK Anand, who is defending Sanjeev Nanda, an accused in the high-profile case, were allegedly shown influencing Sunil Kulkarni, a key eye-witness in the case.
