The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested a 26-year-old man for allegedly selling illegal arms in NCR.

The police said the alleged arms dealer, Manish Kumar, sold country-made pistols manufactured in Bihar as imported weapons in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR).
Kumar is a native of Bihar's Munger district and a graduate.
“He sold weapons made in Munger for Rs 30,000-Rs. 50,000 each. He also provided spare magazines and ammunition to his buyers,” additional commissioner of police (crime) Neeraj Thakur said.
According to Kumar, there is a good demand for these weapons in NCR, Thakur said.
The police said Kumar smuggled in 10-15 weapons inside his luggage at a time. They said he would allegedly get 'Made in Italy', 'Made is USA', 'Made in England', 'Beretta' 'Smith & Wesson' marks engraved on the guns before selling them, the police said.
After the arrest, the police raided various places in Mirzapur and Munger districts along with the Bihar police.
“Manish disclosed the places where these illegal weapons were being made. Raids are still being conducted across Bihar,” Thakur said.
Fourteen sophisticated weapons — including 12 pistols and two revolvers — and 86 rounds of ammunition were also recovered.
